What is live streaming? 

Live streaming is broadcasting and delivering an event on the Internet as it happens, in real time. All you need is a computer equipped with a webcam and a microphone. In addition, you will need a live streaming website such as Tvoop.com. After you have created an account on Tvoop.com,  you will need to create your own channel. From here on Tvoop does all the hard work for you, so you can focus on your broadcast. It will test the speed of your Internet connection to allow for the best possible configuration. Tvoop's encoder handles the audio and video stream compression, player format negotiation, bandwidth adjustment and serving over the Internet. All you have to do is to point your camera and shoot. Of course, this set up will give you a limited audio and video quality. If you want a better quality with more options to adjust such as the bitrate and framrate, you will need to download a small free software made by Adobe. It is called "flash media live encoder". You will find it on Adobe's website by searching for it on Google.
